Xiamen Children's Library Zhongshan Park Branch

Xiamen Children's Library was established on New Year's Day in 1986, making it the first independently established municipal-level public children's library in Fujian Province. In 2005, it was rated as a "First-Class Library" by the Ministry of Culture, and re-evaluated as such in 2010. It is the Xiamen Children's Branch of the China Digital Library and one of the first "National Practice Bases for Moral Development of Young Citizens."

Xiamen Children's Library currently has a total floor area of over 10,000 square meters. The Zhongshan Park Branch at No. 2 Gongyuan South Road covers an area of 5,075 square meters, while the Wenzao Branch at No. 140 Houdeixi Road spans 5,031 square meters. The library holds a collection of 560,000 printed materials, over 760,000 electronic documents, more than 10,000 video resources, over 200 types of electronic newspapers, 2,390 types of electronic journals, and a picture database of 67,616 images. It also provides distinctive digital resources for readers, including Le'er Science Animation, Edusoft Multimedia Database, Tianfang Audio Digital Library, Click Comic Book Library, and Children’s Knowledge Video Library.
