The Library of Xiamen University Tan Kah Kee College (Library of Xiamen University Zhangzhou Campus) is located in Building 3 (Floors 1 to 5) of the main building complex on campus, with a total construction area of 37,792 square meters. It was completed in November 2004 and began trial operation, officially opening in April 2005. The library operates under an integrated "one-stop" service model. As of August 30, 2017, it houses a collection of 950,000 books and periodicals, including 791 current periodicals and 66 newspapers. These are organized by category—humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences—on the second, third, and fourth floors respectively, and provides 3,500 reading seats. Additionally, it offers interlibrary loan services with other libraries at Xiamen University. In addition to book and periodical lending, the library also provides online resource retrieval, reference consultation, and reader training services through campus broadband and a robust digital resource system. It is equipped with discussion rooms and multimedia meeting rooms to support the teaching and research activities of faculty and students.
