Lin Mansion on Gulangyu Island is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Lin Mansion on Gulangyu Island is located on Gulangyu Island, Guxin Road, Siming District, Xiamen City, Fujian Province. In the 21st year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1895), Lin Chaodong from Wufeng, Taiwan, relocated his entire family to Gulangyu and purchased this residence. The property covers a total area of approximately 2,000 square meters and consists of two buildings: the main house and the auxiliary house. Both are two-story Western-style structures built with brick and wood. The main house faces west and is oriented eastward, with a “甲”-shaped floor plan. It is enclosed by railings on three sides, with an overall width of 20.3 meters, a depth of 15.5 meters, and a total height of 10.15 meters. The roof is a four-sloped hip roof covered with red clay tiles. Spacious gardens are situated both in front of and behind the main house. The auxiliary house faces north and is oriented southward, featuring a rectangular floor plan, with a width of 16 meters across four bays and a depth of 6.7 meters. Its roof is a double-sloped gable roof covered with red clay tiles.

Lin Zumu followed his father, Lin Chaodong, to the mainland and resided in this mansion. In 1915, he joined the Chinese Revolutionary Party and devoted himself to democratic revolutionary activities. He was killed by a Fujian warlord in 1925.
