The Lin Family Ancestral Hall in Tianbian is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Lin Family Ancestral Hall in Tianbian is located in the western part of Tianbian Natural Village, Li’an Community, Maxiang Town. It was originally built during the Ming Dynasty, renovated during the Qing Dynasty, and had its front section refurbished again in 1974. Facing west and situated eastward, the two-courtyard residence has a width of 11 meters and a total depth of 18.7 meters, covering an area of approximately 515 square meters with a built-up area of 205.7 square meters. The front gate bears the inscription “Lin Family Ancestral Hall.” The front section features a concave-style porch with side corridors, spanning three bays in width and 3.2 meters in depth, with a courtyard that is 5 meters deep. It has a flush-gable roof with swallowtail ridges. The main hall serves as a ceremonial space, spanning three bays (11 meters) in width and four pillars (10.5 meters) in depth, with an interior height of 5.6 meters. At the center of the main hall is a shrine, supported by a post-and-lintel beam frame, with board-tiled roofing, a flush-gable roof, and swallowtail ridges. Inside the hall, six lotus-shaped stone column bases are preserved. Due to years of disrepair, horizontal beams are used to support the columns. The southern exterior wall protrudes and is reinforced with stacked stone blocks.

Li’an Community: Li’an Village Committee: Located in the central part of the town. It administers five natural villages: Lin, Tianbian, Linbing, Shanqian, and Mianqian. It consists of 9 villager groups, 705 households, and 2,710 residents. During the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the Neilin Bao within Min’an Li. In 1943, it was part of the Neian Bao under Houmu Township. In 1950, it came under Li’an Township in the Fifth District. In 1959, it was reorganized as Li’an Brigade under Maxiang Commune. In 1961, it was placed under Xiangxi Commune. In 1964, it returned to Maxiang Commune. In 1984, it was renamed Li’an Village Committee under Houbin Township. In 1987, it became part of Maxiang Town.
