The Sitalou Mansion is located on Zhonghua Road in Siming District and is the oldest existing residential building on Gulangyu Island. Both the "Sitalou Mansion" and the Dafu Residence (No. 28 Haitan Road) feature the unique architectural style of southern Fujian — red brick houses with red brick walls, red tube tiles, and red floors that create a festive atmosphere. The writer Shu Ting passes by here every day and speaks highly of it. After more than two years of restoration following the principle of preserving the original appearance, these two historic buildings now showcase the architectural art of southern Fujian residences and the captivating charm of traditional Gongfu tea to visitors.
