The Former Site of Kinmen County Government in Dadeng is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Location: Tianqian Village, Dadeng Island, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City

Introduction: In October 1937, Japanese invading forces occupied Kinmen Island. In early 1938, the Kinmen County Government relocated here and used civilian houses as offices until it returned to Kinmen Island after the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. The site includes seven structures across twelve buildings: the Kinmen County Government Headquarters, Clerical Office, Security Team, Meeting Room, Salt Soldiers’ Building, Kuomintang County Party Headquarters, and the Secretariat of the County Party Headquarters. It stands as an important historical relic of joint resistance against Japan by compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Protected Area: Kinmen County Government Headquarters – east to the steps of the village committee, north to Zheng’s Ancestral Temple, west and south each extending 14 meters.

Clerical Office – east and west each extending 15 meters, north extending 14 meters, south extending 10 meters.

Security Team – east to the steps of the village committee, north to Zheng’s Ancestral Temple, west and south each extending 14 meters.

Meeting Room (Zheng’s Ancestral Temple) – east extending 10 meters, west extending 30 meters, north extending 25 meters, south extending 10 meters.

Salt Soldiers’ Building – east extending 10 meters, west extending 15 meters, north extending 10 meters, south extending 12 meters.

Kuomintang County Party Headquarters – east extending 15 meters, west extending 20 meters, north to the planned road red line, south extending 25 meters, southwest extending 10 meters.

Secretariat of the County Party Headquarters – east to the stage, west and north each extending 10 meters, south extending 10 meters.

In 2009, the Former Site of Kinmen County Government in Dadeng was designated as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
