Gulangyu Sanqitian Wharf

Gulangyu Sanqitian Wharf is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Gulangyu Sanqitian Wharf is located on Gulangyu Island in Siming District, Xiamen City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: One existing granite stone stairway wharf is built adjacent to the revetment, featuring a downward-stepping stone stair formation. At high tide, seawater can reach the top of the stone stair wharf, facilitating the docking of boats for cargo loading and unloading. It is paved horizontally with granite slabs, approximately 4.5 meters wide, about 10 meters long, with a drop of around 4–5 meters.

Protected area: East to the revetment of Huandao Road and 10 meters beyond the wharf structure itself; west to Yanping Road; south to 10 meters outside the entrance of Sanqitian Tourist Wharf; north to the entrance of Sanqitian Tourist Wharf.

In 2018, Gulangyu Sanqitian Wharf was designated as part of the ninth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.
