The Spanish Captain's Tomb on Gulangyu Island is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Spanish Captain's Tomb on Gulangyu Island is located on Gulangyu Island in Siming District, Xiamen City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Built in the 24th year of the Qianlong reign during the Qing Dynasty (1759), the tomb is situated on a hillside facing the sea in the southern part of Guanhai Garden. One tombstone remains, with a cross pattern engraved at the top, 12 lines of uppercase foreign letters in the middle, and the year “1759” inscribed at the bottom. Research has confirmed that this is the tomb of a Spanish captain.

Protected area: A 20-meter buffer zone extends outward in all directions from the center of the tomb.

In 2018, the Spanish Captain's Tomb on Gulangyu Island was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
