The Former Residence of the American Reformed Church Minister on Gulangyu Island is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Former Residence of the American Reformed Church Minister on Gulangyu Island is located on Gulangyu Island in Siming District, Xiamen City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Also known as the Three-Courtyard Mansion’s Girls’ Building. Constructed in the late 1860s, its roof features a traditional three-ridge design of southern Fujian, China. It became well known for housing several influential female educators, including Miss MacKenzie, the principal of Yude Girls' Primary School established by the American Reformed Church; Miss Kate Chalmers, the principal of Yuanyuan Primary School; Miss Forman, the principal of Yude Girls' Middle School; and Miss Minnie Vautrin, the principal of the nursing school.

Protected area: Extends 20 meters to the northeast, 12 meters to the southeast, reaches the small road to the southwest, and extends to the edge of the pond to the north.

In 2018, the Former Residence of the American Reformed Church Minister on Gulangyu Island was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
