Chuncao Hall on Gulangyu Island is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Chuncao Hall on Gulangyu Island is located on Gulangyu Island in Siming District, Xiamen. It dates back to the Republican era.

Description: Built in 1933, the building faces south with a slight eastward orientation, has a total width of 22 meters and a depth of 17 meters. It is a two-story structure that blends Chinese and Western architectural styles. The floor plan is nearly square, and the exterior features a Western-style villa design with three bays and a front porch. The center of the front porch is a semi-circular balcony that protrudes outward, and the second-floor corridor is adorned with green glazed bottle railings. A small room projects outward from the center of the back facade. Chuncao Hall was designed and built by Xu Chuncan himself. Xu Chuncan (1874–1960), originally from Anxi, was a well-known architect and patriotic figure. He was a member of the Chinese Revolutionary Alliance and participated in the Xiamen Uprising during the 1911 Revolution. In October 1930, he established a rescue home for maidservants on Gulangyu Island, and in 1941, he joined the anti-Japanese salvation movement.

Protected area: To the east up to Bishan Road, and to the west, south, and north up to 20 meters beyond the outer walls of the building.

In 2018, Chuncao Hall on Gulangyu Island was designated as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites by the People's Government of Fujian Province.
