The former site of the Gulangyu Telephone Company is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The former site of the Gulangyu Telephone Company is located on Gulangyu Island in Siming District, Xiamen, dating back to the Republican era.

Description: Constructed during the Republican era, the building faces south and is a three-story Western-style structure with a flat roof. A small stairwell is located on the roof. The building has a rectangular floor plan, 11 meters wide and 13 meters deep. The ground floor faces Longtou Street, featuring large windows on the front wall and entrance doors on both sides. Inside the ground floor, the space is divided into a front room and a rear room, with the front room housing offices and service counters. A wooden staircase on the west side of the building leads to the second and third floors, each of which is divided into several rooms. Multiple rectangular windows are found on the front and rear facades from the first to the third floor. The first-floor front windows have triangular window hoods, while the third-floor windows are adorned with Western-style molded decorations featuring curling flowers and birds beneath the window sills.

Protected area: An extension of 20 meters outward from all sides of the building.
