The former site of the Kinmen Strait Voice Frontline Broadcasting Station on Dadeng is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Fujian Province.

The former site of the Kinmen Strait Voice Frontline Broadcasting Station on Dadeng is located in Yangtang Community, Dadeng Subdistrict, Xiang'an District, Xiamen City, dating back to 1976.

Description: Built in 1976, it consists of the air compressor room of the Strait Voice Broadcasting Station at the entrance, a 210-meter-long wartime tunnel, and military broadcasting loudspeakers at the exit, with a total construction area of 552.3 square meters. The largest loudspeaker has a diameter of 2.86 meters, is 4.47 meters long, weighs 1,588 kilograms, and has a maximum sound power of 20,000 acoustic watts, with an effective sound transmission distance of 12 kilometers, making it a “world record.” The main task of the Strait Voice Frontline Broadcasting Station was to broadcast to Kinmen, promoting the policies of the Chinese Communist Party and the People’s Liberation Army regarding Taiwan, showcasing the achievements of socialist construction on the mainland, and airing messages from families searching for relatives.

In 2018, the former site of the Kinmen Strait Voice Frontline Broadcasting Station on Dadeng was announced by the People's Government of Fujian Province as part of the ninth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage conservation units.

Protected Area: To the east, 76 meters beyond the heritage site itself (former air compressor room); to the south, up to the planned inner bay shoreline; to the west, 205 meters beyond the heritage site; to the north, up to Huan’deng South Road.

Dadeng Subdistrict: In 2005, Dadeng Town was abolished and Dadeng Subdistrict was established. The subdistrict office is located in Xitian.

Located on the southeastern sea area of Xiang'an District, it is only 1,800 meters from Kinmen Island, covering an area of 13.2 square kilometers with a population of nearly 20,000.
