The former site of the Christian Literature Society Bookstore is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The former site of the Christian Literature Society Bookstore is located on Fujian Road, Gulangyu Island, Siming District, Xiamen City, dating back to 1932.

Description: In 1908, the British Religious Tract Society and the American Bible Society established the "Christian Literature Society Bookstore." In 1932, a new site was built for the bookstore—a three-story Western-style red brick building covering an area of 130 square meters. It faces west and is situated to the east, with a layout that is roughly square, each side approximately 10–11 meters long. The right-angle corner near the cross street has been cut off, and the main entrance faces the street intersection. The first floor is an open space, the second floor is divided into two rooms, and the third floor is divided into four rooms. The rooftop features a platform surrounded by railings.

In 2013, the former site of the Christian Literature Society Bookstore was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected Area: An additional 10-meter buffer zone extends outward from the perimeter of the site.
