The former site of the Xiamen Customs Communication Tower is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The former site of the Xiamen Customs Communication Tower is located on Guxin Road, Gulangyu Subdistrict, Siming District, Xiamen City, dating back to 1933–1935.

Description: Two steel-framed iron towers, one in the south and one in the north, are about 50 meters apart and were built between March 1933 and July 1935. The towers have square concrete bases, measuring 6.1 meters (north tower) and 5.7 meters (south tower), with the main body tapering inward as it rises, reaching an overall height of about 45 meters. Small telecommunication transmission facilities are installed at the top of the towers. Next to the south tower, a single-story management building remains, facing south with a north orientation. It is 20 meters long from east to west and 12 meters wide from north to south, featuring a four-sloped corrugated tile roof and divided into several internal rooms.

In 2013, the former site of the Xiamen Customs Communication Tower was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People’s Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An additional 10-meter buffer zone extends around the site.
