The Tomb of Chen Cangjiang is a cultural heritage site protected at the county level in Tong'an District.

The Tomb of Chen Cangjiang is located in Houshao Village, Wuxian Town, Tong'an District, and is a county-level cultural heritage site dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Situated in Houshao Village, Wuxian Town, the tomb is a county-level cultural heritage site built in the Ming Dynasty. Constructed in October of the 35th year of the Jiajing reign (1556), it faces south. In front of the tomb is a stone memorial archway with three bays and four pillars, 6.64 meters wide and 5 meters high. The central horizontal beam on the southern face of the archway is inscribed with “Erected on an Auspicious Day in the Yang Month of the Jiajing Bingchen Year,” while the upper beam reads “Bestowed Grace and Encouragement.” The left bay reads “Promoted to Senior Official,” and the right bay reads “Governed Three Prefectures.” On the northern face, the upper beam is inscribed with “His Achievements Grow Ever More, His Esteemed Reputation Shines Bright,” with the left bay reading “Minister of Justice” and the right bay “Passed the Highest Imperial Exam.” Behind the archway are two sets of stone carvings of tigers and horses. Behind the offering table is a square pavilion with a double-eaved, nine-ridged roof, constructed of stone, housing a turtle-shaped stone stele inscribed with “The Late Ming Dynasty’s Imperial Scholar, Who Governed Three Prefectures, Promoted to Senior Official, Former Criminal Ministry Official Chen Cangjiang and His Wife, the Honored Lady Song Ciji of Ciji, Tomb Path.”

Behind the pavilion, the tomb chamber wall features a cursive poem titled “Rhyming with Cheng’s Verse for Chen Cangjiang’s Longevity Domain” written by Taoist Jiang Tiandao. The sealed tomb chamber is made of lime-soil mixture, with palace walls and side wing walls built from large slab stones, and a pair of stone lions on the walls. The tomb has been robbed and repaired multiple times. In January 1991, clan descendants funded a restoration following the principle of “restoring the old as it was,” giving the site a renewed appearance.

Wuxian Town: Wuxian Town is located in the northeast corner of Tong'an District, bordering Tingxi and Nan'an to the north, Hongtang to the south, Xinxu in Xiang'an to the east, and the urban area of Datong to the west. The Tong-Xin Highway runs through the town, providing convenient transportation and a prominent geographical advantage.

The town covers a total land area of 73.8 square kilometers, with jurisdiction over 15 administrative villages, 95 natural villages, and 172 villager groups. It has a population of 34,600, arable land of 28,900 mu, mountainous land of 71,200 mu, and forested area of 66,000 mu.
