Bronze Basin Rock Buddha
The Bronze Basin Rock Buddha is a cultural relic protection unit of Tong'an District.
The Bronze Basin Rock Buddha is located at West Bronze Basin Rock in Huacuo Village, Lianhua Town, Tong'an District. It is a county-level cultural relic protection unit dating back to the Song Dynasty.
Protected area: 200 meters extending outward from all sides of the temple.
Lianhua Town: Located in the northwest of Tong'an District, Xiamen City, Lianhua Town borders Tingxi Town of Tong'an District to the east, connects to Jimei District to the south, adjoins Zhangzhou’s Changtai County to the west, and links to Anxi County of Quanzhou to the north. It serves as the green northern gateway to the Xiamen Special Economic Zone from the northwest. The town covers an area of 196.4 square kilometers, with a population of 34,000, and governs 19 administrative villages. It has 206,000 mu of mountainous land and 28,000 mu of arable land. There are 24 grassroots Party branches and a total of 1,192 Party members in the town.
