The Cliff Inscriptions on Xishan Rock are a cultural relic protection unit of Tong’an District.
The Cliff Inscriptions on Xishan Rock are located on the northern side of Xishan Rock in Xinmin Town, Tong’an District. They are a county-level cultural relic protection unit dating back to the Ming Dynasty.
Protected area: 300 meters extending outward from the stone carvings.
Xinmin Town: Located southwest of Tong’an urban area, Xinmin Town borders Xiangping to the north, Jimei to the south, Xike to the east, and Lianhua and Fengnan to the west. The town covers an area of 51.2 square kilometers and administers seven communities—Wutu, Wulü, Houzhai, Sikouzhen, Huan, Heshan, and Xitang—as well as six administrative villages: Ganling, Hugan, Xilin, Yangcuopu, Xishan, and Caizhai.
