The Magnetic Kiln Tail Site is a cultural heritage protection site of Tong'an District.

The Magnetic Kiln Tail Site is located in Cizhaowei Community, Shixun Village, Hongtang Town, Tong'an District. It is a district-level cultural heritage protection site dating back to the Tang and Five Dynasties periods.

Protected Area: Centered at the intersection of 118°10′57″ east longitude and 20°41′33″ north latitude, extending 200 meters along both the eastern and western edges of the rear stream of Shixun, 200 meters from the western edge of the stream to the east, and 300 meters from the northern edge of the stream to the south.

Hongtang Town: Hongtang Town is located in the eastern part of Tong'an District and is an urban-rural fringe area. To the northeast, it borders Majie Town and Xinwei Town of Xiang'an District respectively, to the west it neighbors Xiangping and Datong Subdistricts, and to the north it adjoins Wuxian Town. The town has a total population of 30,823, comprising 16 administrative villages, covering an area of 37.06 square kilometers with 16,594 mu of arable land. In 2004, the total industrial and agricultural output value was 922 million yuan, including 796 million yuan from industry and 126 million yuan from agriculture.
