Tomb of Lin Xiyuan

The Tomb of Lin Xiyuan is a cultural heritage site protected at the district level in Tong’an District.

The Tomb of Lin Xiyuan is situated in Haolingkengnei Village, Xike Town, Tong’an District, to the north. It is a district-level cultural heritage site dating back to the Ming Dynasty.

Protected area: an extension of 20 meters outward from all sides of the tomb.

Xike Town: Since the establishment of Tong’an County in Xiamen during the third year of the Taikang era of the Western Jin Dynasty (282 AD), Xike Town has always been under the jurisdiction of Tong’an. After the Song Dynasty, most of its area belonged to Congshun Li within Yongfeng Township. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940 AD), it was designated as the First District and named Yaogang Township, later renamed Kangle Township. In February 1959, it became Cesao Commune. In 1984, due to the location of the township government in Xike Village, it was renamed Xike Township, and in 1991, it was upgraded from a township to a town.
