Shengguo Temple is a cultural heritage site protected at the district level in Jimei.

Shengguo Temple is situated in Hou’an Village, Houxi Town, Jimei District. It is a district-level cultural heritage site dating back to the Tang Dynasty.

Hou’an Village: Hou’an Village is located in the central part of Houxi Town, Jimei District, Xiamen. It administers four natural villages: Hou’an, Tiancuo, Chuangnei, and Dongcuozhai. To the south lies County Road 403, and to the east is the Xiamen-Zhangzhou Expressway. The village is 3 kilometers from the Houxi Town Government. It is home to Xiamen North Railway Station and the district-level cultural heritage site Shengguo Temple. The area enjoys a spring-like climate all year round and benefits from convenient transportation. The village covers an area of 3.7 square kilometers, with a total population of 2,699 people across 809 households.
