The "Tong" Character House is a cultural heritage site protected at the district level in Tong'an.

The "Tong" Character House is located in Anbing Village, Lianhua Town, Tong'an District. It is a district-level cultural heritage site dating back to 1924.

Protected area: The "Tong" Character House and its affiliated cultural relics—the Erluo House, Yezu House, and the Lianfeng House architectural complex—have a 15-meter extension from the front walls and a 10-meter extension from the rear walls; the east and west walls of the "Tong" Character House and the west wall of the Lianfeng House each have a 10-meter extension.

Lianhua Town: Located in the northwest of Xiamen’s Tong'an District, Lianhua Town borders Tingxi Town of Tong'an District to the east, connects to Jimei District to the south, adjoins Zhangzhou’s Changtai County to the west, and links to Anxi County of Quanzhou to the north. It serves as the green northern gateway to the Xiamen Special Economic Zone from the northwest. The town covers an area of 196.4 square kilometers, with a population of 34,000, and governs 19 administrative villages. It has 206,000 mu of mountainous land and 28,000 mu of arable land.
