The Li Zifang Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination, as well as a base for patriotic education and national defense education.

The Li Zifang Memorial Park is located in Shishi City, Fujian Province, a well-known hometown of overseas Chinese. The park consists of four sections: the Memorial Hall of Martyr Li Zifang, a bluestone statue of Martyr Li Zifang, a memorial square, and a landscaped garden, covering a total area of 6,600 square meters. The memorial hall has a construction area of over 400 square meters and utilizes various mediums such as photographs, artifacts, calligraphy, and paintings, along with audiovisual and multimedia formats, to authentically present the historical scenes. At the center of the main hall’s back wall is an inscription in seven golden characters reading “In Memory of Martyr Li Zifang,” written in September 1985 by General Ye Fei, former Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress. Inside the hall, there are two square glass display stands that exhibit some of the clothing once worn by Martyr Li Zifang during the revolutionary years, as well as a collection of over 30 different types of books including memoirs and recorded articles about his deeds. On the walls on both sides of the hall, more than 50 enlarged precious photographs are hung in sequence from left to right, each accompanied by explanatory text. These images are organized under six themes — “Young Overseas Returnee,” “Abandoning the Pen for the Sword,” “The Long March,” “Fires in Southern Anhui,” “Trials in Shangrao,” and “Everlasting Heroism” — offering a concise overview of the short yet brilliant life of Martyr Li Zifang. The hall also displays several valuable inscriptions from the martyr’s comrades-in-arms. The Li Zifang Memorial Park serves as a patriotic education base for both Shishi City and Quanzhou City. In November 2007, it was designated as a “Fujian Provincial National Defense Education Base” by the People’s Government of Fujian Province, and in November 2012, it was awarded the title of “Fujian Provincial Party History Education Base” by the Party History Research Office of the CPC Fujian Provincial Committee.

Li Zifang (1910–1942), childhood name Qinxin, was born in the second year of the Xuantong era of the Qing Dynasty (1910) in Candou Village, Yongning, Jinjiang (now part of Yongning Town, Shishi City).

At the age of 8, Li Zifang began attending Yinjiang Primary School. Due to the early deaths of his parents and worsening family circumstances, he had to drop out midway. In the 12th year of the Republic of China (1923), Li Zifang followed fellow villagers to Manila, Philippines. He first worked as an apprentice in a shop, then attended Zhongxi School while working part-time. During his time in the Philippines, the Chinese revolution was flourishing at home, and through reading many progressive newspapers and books abroad, Li Zifang developed a strong aspiration to serve and save the nation.
