Among the elderly “cyclists” who rode bikes to explore the ancient city and admire lanterns, the oldest participant was 85 years old. Cyclist Lin Jinjin told reporters that organizing this cycling tour to celebrate the Lantern Festival serves not only as a way to enjoy the festivities but more importantly, to encourage more citizens to join cycling groups, promote green travel, and embrace healthy biking.
