Wang Qiwu’s Residence in Yu Lake is a cultural heritage site protected by Shishi City.

Wang Qiwu’s Residence in Yu Lake, built in 1900, faces south and features a traditional two-courtyard, five-bay layout with attached wing rooms. The wing includes a two-story dressing tower and a four-sloped pavilion. The residence consists of a stone-paved courtyard, entrance hall, side rooms, main hall, wing rooms, rear chamber, study, and garden, covering a construction area of 1,000 square meters. It is a brick-and-wood traditional dwelling. The overall layout of the building is ingeniously designed, with exquisite decorations including stone carvings, brick carvings, wood carvings, and clay sculptures. The carvings are delicate, and the inscriptions and couplets by notable figures are rich in meaning, showcasing distinctive local architectural characteristics. Its protection category is classified as ancient architecture.

On March 15, 2020, Wang Qiwu’s Residence in Yu Lake was announced as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites protected by Shishi City.
