The Old Cai Songbai Residence is a cultural heritage site protected by Shishi City.

The Old Cai Songbai Residence in Gufu is located in Gufu Village, Xiangzhi Town. Built in the early years of the Republic of China, it faces south and features a three-courtyard, five-bay layout with a left wing, consisting of a stone-paved courtyard, entrance hall, side rooms, main hall, and wing rooms, covering a construction area of 550 square meters. The main hall is five bays wide and five pillars deep, with a post-and-lintel beam structure and a flush gable roof. This building is well-preserved, featuring exquisite decorations such as stone carvings, brick carvings, wood carvings, and clay sculptures. Its unique architectural style holds high artistic value. It is categorized as a protected ancient building.

On March 15, 2020, the Old Cai Songbai Residence was announced as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage sites protected by Shishi City.

To the south, it is 70 nautical miles from Xiamen Port, 140 nautical miles from Fuzhou Port to the north, and 165 kilometers from Kaohsiung Port in Taiwan.
