Tomb of Governor Fu Tie

The Tomb of Governor Fu Tie is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

The Tomb of Governor Fu Tie is located in Futie Village, Kangmei Town, Nan'an City, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Also known as the Tomb of Lin Xian, it was built in the 34th year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty (1695). Facing south and backing north, it is constructed of lime-soil mixture and has a "wind" character-shaped layout, measuring approximately 50 meters in width and 100 meters in depth. The tombstone is inscribed with “Imperial Qing: Admiral of Haitan, Left Governor-General, Duke of Glory and Wealth, posthumously awarded the title of Minor Tutor to the Crown Prince, Tomb of Mr. Lin and his First-Rank Lady Madam Zhang.” In front of the tomb is a stone-carved sacrificial altar, five-tiered tomb platform, and pairs of stone statues including civil officials, horses, tigers, and sheep on both sides. Lin Xian (1653–1687), styled Kexi and also known as Zunyi, was a native of Nan'an, Fujian. He once served as Admiral of Haitan Town in Fujian and joined Shi Lang in the recapture of Taiwan in the 22nd year of the Kangxi reign (1683).

In 2013, the Tomb of Governor Fu Tie was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Futie Village: 1.1 Natural and Geographic Overview

Futie Village is situated on the eastern bank of the Dongxi River in Jinjiang, downstream from Guanyinting Reservoir. The village is distributed along both sides of Provincial Highway 307, with rural roads connecting to NanHong Highway. The settlement lies at the foot of Kuishan Mountain and is rectangular in shape. It falls within Quanzhou’s half-hour economic circle, located 16 kilometers from downtown Nan'an. To the east it borders Puding Village in Fengzhou Town, to the west the Dongxi River in Jinjiang, to the south Suya Village in Fengzhou Town, and to the north Cuodou Village in Honglai Town.
