Tomb of Fu Hanqi

The Tomb of Fu Hanqi is a cultural relic protection unit of Nan’an City.

The Tomb of Fu Hanqi is located in Xiaoban, Futie Village, Kangmei Town. Dating back to the Ming Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient tomb.

The tomb faces east and is built with lime-mortared earth, featuring a "wind" character-shaped layout, covering an area of approximately 1,000 square meters. The tombstone has a square, horn-like top inscribed with the text: “Tomb of Lord Fu of Fengshan, Changle, Guangzhou, Ming Dynasty, Erected in the First Month of the Wanli Era.” Fu Hanqi (1500–1573), also known as Shishi and by his courtesy name Fengshan, was a tribute student in the sixth year of the Jiajing reign and was appointed as an instructor in Changle, Guangdong.

On January 21, 2020, the People’s Government of Nan’an City designated it as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural relic protection units.

Protected area: East to the outer edge of the tomb platform, west 50 meters beyond the rear of the tomb, south to the surrounding wall, north to the mountain path concrete road.

Futie Village is located on the eastern bank of the Dongxi River in Jinjiang, downstream from Guanyinting Reservoir. The village is distributed along both sides of Provincial Highway 307, with rural roads connecting to Nan Hong Highway. The settlement lies at the foot of Kuishan Mountain, taking on a rectangular shape. It falls within Quanzhou’s half-hour economic circle, situated 16 kilometers from downtown Nan’an. To the east, it borders Puding Village in Fengzhou Town; to the west, the Dongxi River in Jinjiang; to the south, Suya Village in Fengzhou Town; and to the north, Cuodou Village in Honglai Town.
