The Third Generation Ancestral Hall of Wenfeng Palace is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

The Third Generation Ancestral Hall of Wenfeng Palace is located in the middle of the pedestrian street at Wenxian Neighborhood Committee, Zhenhai Subdistrict Office, Licheng District. During the Yuan Dynasty, the Baihu Shunji Temple from the Song Dynasty was relocated to its current site and renamed Wenfeng Tianhou Palace or Wenfeng Palace. In the 22nd year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1757), Magistrate Gong Zhaolin built the “Tianhou Third Generation Ancestral Hall” on the right side of the main hall of the Tianhou Palace. In 1940, a three-story Shengtian Tower was also constructed to the right of the ancestral hall. The ancestral hall covers an area of 200 square meters, faces west with its entrance to the east, has three bays in width and one bay in depth, features a post-and-lintel wooden structure, and is topped with a gable and hip roof. The Shengtian Tower faces south with its back to the north, also has a post-and-lintel wooden structure, and is topped with a hip-and-gable roof. The ancestral hall preserves one wooden statue of Mazu carved during the Song Dynasty, stone pillars from the Yuan Dynasty, and two stone steles from the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty (1796–1820). It serves as an important venue for the Mazu worship ceremony in Putian City, has far-reaching influence, and is also a significant Taiwan-related cultural relic in Fujian Province. The Third Generation Ancestral Hall of Wenfeng Palace was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province in 2009.

Wenxian Community: Wenxian Community is under the jurisdiction of Zhenhai Subdistrict Office and is named after the wooden archway inscribed with “Land of Culture and Renown” within its territory. It borders Fengshan Community to the east and south, borders Taiping Community of Chengxiang District to the west, and extends to Changshou Community to the north. The community covers a total area of 0.3 square kilometers, has 1,619 households, and a total population of 6,063, including 4,076 registered residents and 1,987 migrants.
