The Former Site of the CPC Putian County Committee is located in Siting Natural Village, Haopu Community, Gongchen Subdistrict, Licheng District, Putian City.

In May 1948, the Central Fujian Committee held a meeting at Damao Mountain in Minhou to plan the reorganization and revitalization of party organizations across counties. It was decided that Kang Jinshu, Zhang Kun, and Lin Ruliang would form the CPC Putian County Committee, with Kang Jinshu as the secretary, and return to Putian to establish a base. After returning to Putian, in July of the same year, Kang Jinshu and others convened a meeting at Xianxing Hall in Siting Village on the outskirts of the city, gathering key Party members who were scattered and in hiding. At the meeting, the establishment of the CPC Putian County Committee was announced, and the slogan “Restore the old base areas, develop new ones” was put forward. The attendees were tasked with mobilizing the masses to carry out struggles such as eliminating local tyrants, borrowing grain, and raising funds. After the meeting, the People’s Anti-Tyranny Squad was formed to launch struggles against oppression, leading to the full restoration of base villages in Nanyang, Beiyang, Jiangkou, Beigao, Zhongmen, and Changhai. The revolutionary enthusiasm among the masses surged, and the struggle quickly gained momentum. In February 1949, the Putian County Committee moved its headquarters from Siting to Qingjiang in Huangshi.

The Former Site of the CPC Putian County Committee is Xianxing Hall. The current structure is a renovated and rebuilt version of the original scale—a single-story brick-and-wood building with three wing rooms, facing south, covering an area of about 70 square meters, with a front courtyard of approximately 30 square meters.
