The Site of the Wanyang Liaison Station is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Wanyang Liaison Station is located in Jialan Natural Village, Wanyang Village, Xitianwei Town, Licheng District, Putian City.

In 1940, Chen Yulan and her husband from the village became liaisons for the underground guerrilla forces in Putian. They set up a liaison station at home to provide food, clothing, and accommodation for the guerrillas. During the arduous years of the Liberation War, they supplied various intelligence to the Party’s underground organization. Later, due to an informant’s tip-off, the liaison station was searched by the Nationalist Party’s security forces. Chen Yulan and her husband responded with wit and bravery, ensuring the safe escape of the guerrillas. Leaders of the underground Communist Party in Putian such as Huang Guozhang, Lin Runan, and Zhang Kun frequently conducted activities and held meetings here.

The Site of the Wanyang Liaison Station is a single-story brick-and-wood structure consisting of seven bays, including upper and lower halls, left and right wing rooms, and a brick-paved courtyard, covering an area of 125 square meters. In December 2011, the Party History Research Office of the Putian Municipal Committee of the CPC granted it protected status with a commemorative plaque.

It covers an area of 58 square kilometers and has a permanent population of over 60,000. The town administers one neighborhood committee and 16 administrative villages. Both National Highway 324 and the Putian–Yongchun Road pass through the area.
