The Former Site of the Cadre Meeting of the Putian County Committee of the Communist Party of China is located in Yuannhou Natural Village, Yuanshou Village, Baoxing Town, Licheng District, Putian City.

On April 10, 1947, after the establishment of the Minzhong Guerrilla Column (also known as the Daiyun Column), in order to strengthen the forces of the guerrilla column, Huang Guozhang sent Chen Zhenxian and Rao Yunshan back to Fuqing to investigate the situation of the Longgao Uprising and strive to bring back the scattered guerrilla fighters; at the same time, he assigned Lin Runan to temporarily stay in Putian to reorganize the county party committee, mobilize young activists to join the guerrilla forces, and thereby reinforce the main strength of the Minzhong guerrillas. On April 26, Lin Runan presided over a meeting of party members and cadres of Putian County at Hufu Mountain West Temple (Huyuan Temple), an activity base of the Putian Party organization and guerrilla forces. The meeting conveyed and implemented a series of decisions made by the Minxi–Gan–Jian Regional Party Committee and the Minzhong Prefectural Party Committee regarding the launch of a patriotic guerrilla war, and arranged for efforts to mobilize the masses, carry out the struggle against the “Three Levies,” and organize young activists to join the guerrilla forces. The meeting decided to form a new county party committee leadership team with Xu Alu (Zou Tu) as secretary, and Lin Ruliang, Lin Huanzhang, Zhang Kun, and Lin Xuan as committee members. By the end of May, more than 50 newly mobilized guerrilla fighters and a batch of equipment and supplies from the Putian County Committee were successively delivered to the Minzhong Guerrilla Column, contributing to the expansion of the main force of the Minzhong guerrillas.

The Former Site of the Cadre Meeting of the Putian County Committee of the Communist Party of China is Huyuan Temple, located on Hufu Mountain upstream of the Hongshan Reservoir in Baoxing Town, not far from the urban area. It faces south and is a one-story brick-and-wood structure temple with a total of nine rooms, including five Buddha halls, covering an area of over 1,000 square meters, with a building area of 600 square meters.
