A native of Putian, Fujian during the Qing Dynasty, styled Zunshi. Initially a general under Zheng Jing. In the 19th year of the Kangxi reign (1680), he surrendered to the Qing Dynasty with his 20,000 troops and was appointed as General of Pingyang. He joined Shi Lang in the attack on Penghu, leading twelve ships in battle and died in combat from a cannon shot.
