Zhouning County Pagoda Park

The county pagoda is situated on Shisungang Hill to the east of Zhouning County town, at an altitude of 980 meters. With an investment of 5.27 million yuan, it was completed in early 2004. Zhouning Pagoda Park is 1.5 kilometers from the county town, with a planned area of 330 mu (220,000 square meters), and is one of the main scenic spots at the eastern gateway of the county town. In 2005, the Zhouning Pagoda Park project was included in the 60th anniversary county celebration projects, with an investment of 1 million yuan used to build steps (280 steps) and the mountain gate square. According to the plan, the park’s scenic walking path will stretch 3,000 meters, connecting eight major cultural sites. It is estimated that the Zhouning Pagoda Park project will require a total investment of 10 million yuan, including 6 million yuan for land acquisition and 4 million yuan for construction.
