Beishan Revolutionary Memorial Park is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Beishan Revolutionary Memorial Park scenic area is located within Beishan Park in the urban district, covering an area of 50,000 square meters. It combines scaled-down views of ancient Ninghua with revolutionary historical relics. The site preserves a considerable number of revolutionary historical artifacts and relics, such as the solemn and majestic Monument to Revolutionary Martyrs, which silently recounts the heroic story of how 13,000 out of Ninghua’s then-population of 110,000 joined the Red Army, and 3,300 sacrificed their lives for the revolution; the dignified bronze sculpture of Mao Zedong’s poem “Like a Dream – New Year’s Day,” vividly recreating the stirring scene of warhorses neighing and red flags fluttering when Mao Zedong led the Fourth Red Army in Ninghua in 1931 and composed the immortal poem; the Revolutionary Memorial Hall, which displays revolutionary relics such as spears, muskets, homemade guns, bugles, and broadswords, along with accounts of the heroic deeds of many revolutionary martyrs, all of which inspire deep reverence. There are also Ming Dynasty stone carvings such as “Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate,” and scaled-down landscapes of ancient Ninghua like the Shouning Roof Bridge. The park features shimmering lakes, rolling hills, swaying tree shadows, and a unique blend of ancient architecture and modern landscaping, offering a distinctive charm.
