The Shibi Red Army Martyrs' Monument is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

The Shibi Red Army Martyrs' Monument is located at Ganshanpai in Shibi Village, Shibi Town, Ninghua County. A small path runs in front of the monument, connecting to the Shibi Martyrs' Cemetery Road, while Provincial Highway 307 passes about 350 meters to the north.

During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, the outstanding sons and daughters of Shibi resolutely bid farewell to their families and embarked on the revolutionary journey to overthrow the rule of the Kuomintang and establish a new China where the people were in charge. Hundreds joined the revolution over successive battles, and most sacrificed heroically. After the founding of New China, 90 of them were officially recognized as martyrs by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, making Shibi the village with the highest number of revolutionary martyrs in Sanming City.

To honor the revolutionary martyrs, carry forward their history, and promote revolutionary traditions, the Ninghua County Old Revolutionary Base Areas Office and Shibi Town People's Government built the Shibi Red Army Martyrs' Monument in October 2001. The monument is a mixed brick-and-stone structure facing south with its back to the north. The main tablet is 1.5 meters tall, and the hall is 4.6 meters wide and 7 meters deep, covering an area of 35 square meters. It consists of a base, one main tablet, two side tablets, and three steps. The main marble tablet features six characters in running script — “Martyrs’ Loyal Souls Live Forever” — engraved in intaglio. In January 2008, the Shibi Village Committee paved a road from Shibi Martyrs' Cemetery Road to the monument. The local government regularly maintains the monument, which remains well-preserved overall.

Since its completion, the Shibi Red Army Martyrs' Monument has been the site of annual tomb-sweeping activities by teachers and students in Shibi Town during Tomb-Sweeping Day. It has now become an important place for descendants to pay tribute to the revolutionary martyrs and for patriotic education.
