Majiashan Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery

Majiashan Red Army Martyrs' Cemetery is located in the northeastern part of Zhongxin Village, Majia Village, Anyuan Township, Ninghua County.

During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, a unit of the Red Army was marching through Majia Village in Anyuan when it was ambushed by local militias, resulting in the death of several Red Army soldiers. In 1958, local villagers exhumed the remains of several Red Army martyrs and reburied them at this site, constructing a simple martyrs' cemetery. It is a stone-and-concrete structure facing west, standing approximately 2 meters tall and covering an area of about 1 square meter. The cement tombstone bears the vertically inscribed characters “Red Army Martyrs’ Cemetery” in relief. Due to natural erosion and years of neglect, parts of the base’s cement have fallen off, the inscriptions have become blurred, and the overall preservation condition is fair.
