The urban area’s “Zhu-Mao Red Army Building” (Xikou Catholic Church) is the former site of the General Headquarters and General Front Committee of the First Front Army of the Red Army, as well as the former residences of Mao Zedong and [Name Redacted]. It also includes the former site of the Chinese Soviet Military Commission, the former site of the General Political Department of the First Front Army of the Red Army, [Name Redacted]’s former residence (the White Building), the former site of the Fujian-Jiangxi Military District Command, and [Name Redacted]’s former residence (Xiadingjia House).

Wan’an Bridge (the “Red Army Bridge”) is the commemorative site of the victory in the Second Anti-“Encirclement and Suppression” Campaign. The Jinping Mountain Scenic Area features attractions such as Longtan Waterfall, Jinping Clear Snow, Shiyanyan Rock, and Immortal’s Pool. Tiantai Mountain boasts sights like the Heavenly Lake and Yunwu Nunnery. The Bailian Temple on Longmen Mountain in Kefang was once visited by the Song Dynasty statesman and litterateur Wang Anshi, who studied here during his youth. Emperor Shenzong bestowed upon it the plaque inscribed with “Bailian Chongsheng Temple.”
