Jianning Xiuzhu Lotus Garden is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

A twenty-minute drive from the county seat of Jianning County takes you to Xiuzhu Village in Jun口 Town, where the national agricultural tourism demonstration site "Jiuzhu Lotus Garden" is located. The garden currently features over a thousand acres of lotus ponds, spread out along both sides of the village road. Once you enter the village, the vast expanse of lotus ponds comes into full view. Walking along the wooden boardwalks of the garden, the lush green lotus leaves stretch as far as the eye can see, merging with the distant mountains — the poetic line “Boundless lotus leaves extend to the sky in endless emerald hue, while lotus blossoms glow red under the sun’s bright view” aptly captures the beauty of the scene.

Within the garden lies a unique Lotus Varieties Park, home to over a hundred types of lotus flowers from various regions. Different varieties of lotus thrive here, thanks to the area’s exceptional geographical conditions. Xiuzhu Village has delved deeply into the local characteristics of the lotus, highlighting its profound historical ties with Jianning. Embracing the mission to promote knowledge about the lotus and preserve its cultural heritage, the village has established the China Jian Lotus Culture Museum within the Xiuzhu Lotus Garden scenic area.
