Qiyeyanxiang Archway is a cultural relic protection unit of Fujian Province.

Location: Shangping Village, Xiyuan Township, Jianning County

Description: A four-pillar, three-bay, five-story stone memorial archway, with drum-shaped supporting stones on both sides in front of and behind the pillars. The archway faces south and sits north, with a total width of 6.98 meters, a total height of 8.76 meters, and an area of approximately 14.24 square meters. The structure consists of three levels vertically and five bays horizontally. Plaques inscribed with the characters “Qiyeyanxiang” (Seven Leaves Extend Auspiciousness) are embedded between the horizontal beams. On both sides of the inscribed steles and plaques, there are additional steles that recount related deeds and the construction process of the archway. Above the upper horizontal beam, a “Sacred Edict” stele stands between the dragon and phoenix pillars.

Protected Area: 100 meters south along the ancient post road to the rice fields, 200 meters north along the ancient post road to the Shangping Village road, 50 meters east to the mountain peak, and 50 meters west to the mountain peak.

In 2009, Qiyeyanxiang Archway was announced as part of the seventh batch of provincial-level cultural relic protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Shangping Village: Located in the northwest of Jianning County, Shangping Village in Xiyuan Township borders Xiaping Village in Huangfang Township to the east, is 30 kilometers from the county seat, borders Lichuan County of Jiangxi Province to the west, neighbors Maofang Village in Huangfang Township to the south, and connects to Dalin Village in the same township to the north.

[Village and Residents] Shangping Village has jurisdiction over six villager groups, with 155 households and a total population of 635. It covers an area of 16,786 mu, including 1,646 mu of arable land.

[Historical and Cultural Background] Shangping Village was formerly under the jurisdiction of Shaowu Prefecture. The village is rich in historical heritage and talent.
