The Site of the Soviet Government of the Min-Gan Provincial Government and Former Residence of Shao Shiping is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Soviet Government of the Min-Gan Provincial Government and Former Residence of Shao Shiping is located on the northeast side of the inpatient building and at the site of the medical technology building within the county hospital, at No. 10 Zhongshan North Road, Xinsheng Community, Suixi Town, the county seat of Jianning County.

In November 1933, the organs of the Min-Gan Provincial Government relocated from Chushangxikou in Jianning to the county seat, and the Revolutionary Committee of the Min-Gan Provincial Government was stationed in the Christian church and the auditorium of the private Huamei Primary School run by the church in the county seat. Shao Shiping, then Chairman of the Revolutionary Committee of the Min-Gan Provincial Government, also lived here.

The Site of the Soviet Government of the Min-Gan Provincial Government and Former Residence of Shao Shiping was originally the church of the Jianning County Christian church and the auditorium of the private Huamei Primary School run by the church. After the liberation of Jianning in 1950, it was taken over by the Jianning County Hospital and later demolished. In 1970, a two-story inpatient building of the county hospital was built on the site.
