Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument
The Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument serves as a science education base.
The Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument is located at the top of Qingyun Ridge on the west side of the northern section of Zhongshan North Road in Xinsheng Community, Suixi Town, Jianning County, within the Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery.
In 1984, the People's Government of Jianning County started building the Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument on the west side of the tomb of Martyr Wu Jingtuo in the Jianning Revolutionary Martyrs' Cemetery at the top of Qingyun Ridge in the northern part of the county seat, to commemorate revolutionary martyrs from various historical periods since the Agrarian Revolutionary War. It was completed in May 1986.
The Jianning County Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument faces east, with an octagonal base that covers an area of 165 square meters. The monument itself has a rectangular base, stands 11 meters tall, and is constructed from stone and granite. A cobblestone stairway leads up to the front of the monument.
