The Site of the Soviet Government of the Guiyang Central District is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Soviet Government of the Guiyang Central District is located 6 meters directly opposite No. 26, Old Street, Guiyang Village, Huangbu Township, Jianning County.

In February 1931, the Fourth Red Army defeated the defense corps in various townships to the northwest of Jianning County and established revolutionary committees in Ningyuan, Lutian, Shuinanqiao, Yanshang, Lixin, Guiyang, Chenyu, and Xianhe townships. In May, after the First Front Army of the Red Army liberated Jianning County, with the help of the Red Army, the People's Revolutionary Committee of Jianning County was established, along with the Soviet governments of central districts such as Guiyang, which led the masses in carrying out the land revolution—overthrowing local tyrants, struggling against landlords, redistributing land, expanding the Red Army, and raising funds. At the same time, the central district Red Guards and guerrilla forces were formed to support the operations of the Red Army. In July, the main force of the Red Army withdrew from Jianning and returned to southern Jiangxi to participate in the Third Encirclement Campaign, and the Soviet Government of the Guiyang Central District ceased its activities.

The Site of the Soviet Government of the Guiyang Central District was originally built during the Qing Dynasty, facing south with its back to the north. It features a brick-and-wood structure with a post-and-lintel and through-tenon wooden frame, and a flush-gable roof. The building consists of a lower hall, an inner courtyard, and an upper hall. It has a total width of 18 meters, a depth of 23 meters, and covers a construction area of 414 square meters.
