Jin Si Wan Forest Park is situated in the northern suburbs of Sanming City, 12 kilometers from the city center and adjacent to the renowned Ruiyun Mountain Scenic Area. It spans an area of 1,151.7 hectares and is composed of five main scenic zones: Ruiyun Rafting Area, Leisure Resort Area, Fruit Sightseeing Area, Bamboo Viewing Area, and Rare Birds Breeding Area.

The park boasts a rich diversity of flora and fauna, with over 3,000 species of plants and animals. It is home to precious national tree species such as yew, fragrant wood, and white osmanthus, as well as numerous valuable medicinal herbs and naturally grown edible fungi. Wild animals like macaques, silver pheasants, and pangolins can often be spotted in the forest. The forest oxygen bar features over 8,000 acres of contiguous evergreen broadleaf forests and numerous waterfalls that generate high concentrations of negative ions—measured at up to 40,000 per cubic centimeter. Negative air ions are known as the "vitamins" and "growth hormones" of the air, offering significant health benefits. A 2,000-meter pebble walking trail runs through the woods, providing visitors with a space for fitness and leisure. The widely acclaimed Ruiyun Rafting, dubbed the “Miraculous Ruiyun Drift,” offers an exciting yet safe experience where you can “enjoy the emerald waters and scenic beauty as if traveling through a painting.” The 5.5-kilometer rafting course was designated in 1999 by the provincial tourism bureau as one of the three official rafting sites in Fujian Province.
