The Tomb of the Unknown Red Army Martyrs is a classic red tourism destination.

The Tomb of the Unknown Red Army Martyrs is located behind the old village office in Dushui Village, Zhongcun Township, Sanyuan District.

On May 28, 1934, after engaging in the fierce battle to cross the Shaxi River, the Red 7th Army Corps was retreating toward Sha County and Mingxi when it passed through Dushui Village. Three severely wounded soldiers, whose injuries were too critical to survive the journey, heroically sacrificed their lives upon arrival in the village. With the assistance of local villagers such as Deng Yangyun and Zhang Gaodi, they were buried on the spot in the hills behind Dushui Village. At the time, the Red 7th Army Corps held a brief farewell ceremony for the three martyrs before continuing on to Yunzhu Village. Since no records or names of the fallen soldiers were left behind, their identities remain unknown. To this day, local residents have spontaneously erected a simple memorial at the burial site to honor the Red Army martyrs. During Qingming Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, villagers and students from local primary and secondary schools organize commemorative visits.
