The Deng Clan Ancestral Hall at the former residence of Jiaxiang is located in Xikeng, Wulong Village, Yanqian Town, Sanyuan District.

In June 1934, Wang Jiaxiang led more than 1,000 troops of the Red 7th Army Corps from Huangshakou via the official road to Mingxi, passing through Wulong Village and Yanqian Village to reach the Mingxi Soviet Area and return to the Central Soviet Area. While passing through Wulong Village, Wang Jiaxiang stayed overnight at the Deng Clan Ancestral Hall in Xikeng, Wulong Village, and used the evening time to hold a mass meeting on the large open ground in front of the ancestral hall, promoting revolutionary ideas and conducting social surveys.

The former residence of Wang Jiaxiang was originally the Deng Clan Ancestral Hall in Wulong Village, Yanqian Town. The building was constructed during the Qing Dynasty, with a width of 10 meters, a depth of 18 meters, covering an area of over 300 square meters, and a construction area of about 200 square meters. The entire ancestral hall consists of a front pond, open ground, main hall, rear hall, and side rooms on both sides.

Wang Jiaxiang (1906–1974), originally named Jiashan, also known as Jiashe, was from Hou’an Village, Jing County. After graduating from elementary school in his hometown, he attended the Leyu School in Nanling County and the high school department of St. James’ School in Wuhu. In 1925, he entered the affiliated high school of Shanghai University and joined the Communist Youth League of China. In November of the same year, he was selected to study at Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow. In February 1928, he joined the Communist Party of China at the university. In the autumn of the same year, he was admitted to the Institute of Red Professors for further studies.
