Former Site of the Southeast (District) Office of the CPC Guihua County Committee and the Soviet Government (Branch) of Yanqian Township is located at Langguan Di, Yanqian Village, Yanqian Town, Sanyuan District, Sanming City.

In November 1931, after the First National Congress of Soviets, the Second Workers', Peasants' and Soldiers' Congress of Western Fujian was held in Tingzhou, which emphasized the tasks of consolidating and restoring workers' and peasants' democratic governments at all levels and actively advancing revolutionary struggles in northwestern Fujian. The Communist Party organizations and Soviet governments in western Fujian dispatched a number of experienced cadres and activists from the old revolutionary base areas to work in Qingliu and Guihua (now Mingxi), accelerating the development of the red political power in the Mingxi area where Sanyuan is located. Urban party organizations such as the Southeast District Committee of the county were established, covering party branches in townships including Pingbu, Xikou, and Yanqian. Deng Chaozheng served as the secretary of the Yanqian Township Party Branch. At the same time, the Yanqian Township Soviet Government was formed, with Deng Chaozheng as chairman, Wang Qinggui as vice-chairman, Lü Zhanggou as clerk, and Deng Youliang as secretary.

From 1931 to 1934, the Yanqian Township Party Branch and the Soviet Government held multiple meetings at Langguan Di to propagate revolutionary ideals, mobilize the peasant masses, combat local tyrants, distribute land, raise grain and funds, and transport supplies such as salt to central Soviet areas like Mingxi, Ninghua, and Ruijin. They also organized young people to join the Red Army, supported the 12th Red Army in liberating Yanqian, and backed the Eastern Army in liberating Guihua and Sha County. For nearly three years, they led and organized the local peasants in Yanqian in their revolutionary struggle.

The building is a Qing Dynasty structure, facing south and situated on a north-south axis, with its basic layout well preserved. It has a rectangular floor plan, measuring 35.5 meters in width and 43.2 meters in depth, covering a total area of 1,800 square meters. It is surrounded by residential houses. The front section is accessed through a winding, rare curved corridor that leads from a floral-hanging gate, featuring a diagonal screen wall at the front and backed by mountain peaks. Inside, there are revolutionary heritage sites such as the Children’s Corps sentry post and the Yanqian Red Guards headquarters, with an ancient official road in front that leads through Jikou to central Soviet areas like Mingxi.

The Yanqian Commune was established in 1958, reorganized as a subdistrict in 1984, changed to a township in 1987, and upgraded to a town in 1992.
