Fulinfu Fort

Fulinfu Fort is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Fujian Province.

Fulinfu Fort is located in Shangyang Village, Qingshui She Ethnic Township, Yong'an City, and dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

Description: Rebuilt during the Jiaqing era of the Qing Dynasty (1796–1820). It faces east and is backed by the west, consisting of fortress walls, a main gate, side gates, the main building, surrounding corridor structures, and defensive facilities. It is a two-story square earthen fort covering an area of 1,700 square meters, with a built-up area of 2,850 square meters. The main gate is made of granite with an arched design; the main building has five bays in width and eight pillars in depth, featuring a front corridor, with a post-and-lintel and through-tenon style beam frame, and a gable and hip roof. The ridge purlin, camel hump braces, spandrels, and beams are exquisitely carved.

In 2013, Fulinfu Fort was designated as part of the eighth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Fujian Province.

Protected area: An additional 50 meters extending outward from the perimeter of the fort.

Qingshui She Ethnic Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Yong'an City. Established as the Qingshui District in 1955, it became the Qingshui Commune in 1958, and was reorganized as the Qingshui She Ethnic Township in 1987. Located in the eastern part of the city, it is 61 kilometers from downtown. Covering an area of 260 square kilometers, it has a population of 16,000, including 4,700 people of the She ethnic group. The area is accessible by road. It administers 21 village committees: Qingshui, Huangjingshan, Baiqiuqiu, Jitou, Tinghai, Canghai, Sanfang, HuaiFu, Luoxi, Guokeng, Longwu, Dongjing, Daqiu, Zaowan, Fengtian, Lüqiu, Xincun, Keshan, Guping, Longtou, and Sanxi.
