10 days to go！At Yong'an Elementary School in Tainan, you can view the “Teddy Bear Painted Rice Field” right from the classroom.

Taiwan has another adorable painted rice field to admire！At Yong'an Elementary School in Houpi, Tainan, in just 10 days, you’ll be able to see the “Teddy Bear Painted Rice Field.” The teddy bear appears in the center of the farmland dressed as a farmer, wearing a conical hat—its appearance is incredibly cute when viewed from afar.

The Houpi community in Tainan collaborated with the Teddy Bear Association to create the “Teddy Bear Painted Rice Field.” Lai Cheng-lin, chairman of the Tainan City Houpi Leisure Rural Industry and Cultural Development Association, pointed out that the painted rice field covers about 7-tenth of an acre and features improved varieties of rice in green, white, yellow, black, and red. For the design, the Teddy Bear Association provided free licensing, featuring the teddy bear in the form of a farmer, hoping to attract visitors’ attention.

The “Teddy Bear Painted Rice Field” is located right behind Yong'an Elementary School in Houpi, Tainan—students can even see it from their classrooms during lessons. It’s expected that the rice will be fully grown in another 10 days, and it can be viewed throughout September. Regarding visitor arrangements, Lai Cheng-lin said that if visitors wish to come and see the teddy bear rice art, the school will be specially opened on holidays with guides available, while on weekdays, visitors can enter through the back fields.
