Baita Mountain Scenic Area is a cultural tourism attraction.

Baita Mountain Scenic Area: A renowned Taoist mountain in Jianyang, located at the junction of Jianyang and the Honghe Grand Canyon Ecological Tourism Area in Wuyishan. With an elevation of 1,553 meters, it proudly towers into the blue sky. The mountain is home to the Longji Taoist Temple, originally built during the Tang Dynasty and noted for its magnificent scale.

The mountain also features scenic spots such as Chessboard Rock, Flying Rock, Heart-Testing Rock, and Immortal’s Cave. Hiking up the stone steps from the temple, visitors can reach the summit of Baita Mountain—“Incense-Burning Peak”—after walking about one kilometer. This is the best spot to watch the moon rise. The mountain cliffs are adorned with numerous ancient cliff inscriptions. At the summit stands a small stone pagoda built during the Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty, and the breathtaking view from the top never fails to amaze visitors. Currently, the Jianyang Municipal Government has attracted investors to further develop the Baita Mountain Ecological Scenic Area, positioning it as a national-level forest park.
