Hongqi Holiday Resort in Jianyang City is located in Guixi Village, Shufang Township, approximately 45 kilometers from the city center. The resort covers a total operating area of over 3,000 acres (including a forestry ecological sightseeing park). With its beautiful mountains and clear waters, tranquil environment, fresh air, and pleasant climate, the resort integrates cultural tourism, leisure vacation, scientific research and fitness, as well as agricultural experience. City buses are available to reach the resort.

Shufang Township was one of the three major woodblock printing centers during the Song Dynasty. Its book carving history spans from the late Tang and Five Dynasties period to the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty, lasting about six to seven hundred years, and holds an important place in the history of Chinese culture. Guixi Village is a revolutionary base village. In 1942, the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China was stationed here, directing anti-Japanese and anti-puppet activities across the province. The 35-episode TV series "Secret War at Sun Mountain" was created and filmed based on the historical stories from this period. To fully utilize the unique forest, ancient cultural, and red cultural resources and promote the sustainable development of the forestry economy, in accordance with the spirit of the "Implementation Opinions on Promoting 'Forest Homestay' Leisure and Health Tourism" issued by the Fujian Provincial Forestry Department, and in line with the actual conditions of our enterprise, our farm applied for and implemented the construction of the "Forest Homestay" project in 2007, and built the holiday resort on this basis.

The project has a reception and construction area of over 3,000 square meters. On the original foundation, renovation and expansion began in November 2007. To date, approximately 5 million yuan has been invested, completing a comprehensive building (2,000 m²) that includes offices, meeting rooms, accommodations, dining facilities, and a parking lot; 12 guest rooms have been renovated; and 4 new private dining rooms (with a construction area of 200 m²) have been built, capable of accommodating over 200 people for meals simultaneously. The project began trial operations on July 14, 2008, and has maintained good business performance to date. Currently, there are 41 employees, indirectly providing employment for over 100 people.
